The Mountain Code of Conduct sets guidelines for happy harmony<\/strong> between all ski area users, and helps reduce the risk of injury<\/strong>. It also applies to snowparks. The term \u201fski\u201d includes any activity connected to a ski area (snowboarding, telemark skiing, etc.)<\/p>\n

For everyone\u2019s safety, including yours, skiers must be respectful towards others<\/strong> and obey the Mountain Code of Conduct, as well as any other ski area rules, regulations and sanctions in effect. Patrollers may intervene and confiscate a lift ticket should the Mountain Code of Conduct not be respected.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

1. The Golden Rule: Control!<\/h4>\n
\n

Keep your speed in check, and always control your direction. Make sure you can stop and avoid any person or obstacle at all times.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. Yield to Anyone Downhill of You!<\/h4>\n
\n

Yield to persons downhill, and choose a course that ensures their safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. Free Up the Trail!<\/h4>\n
\n

Only stop if you can be seen from above, and never obstruct the trail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

4. At Intersections, Yield to Persons Uphill!<\/h4>\n
\n

Yield to skiers and riders uphill of you when entering a trail, or at intersections.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

5. Help The Ski Patrol!<\/h4>\n
\n

If you\u2019re involved in or witness an accident, remain at the scene and identify yourself to a first-aider.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

6. No To Runaway Gear!<\/h4>\n
\n

7. No Drugs, No Alcohol!<\/h4>\n
\n

Do not use the lifts or trails when under the influence of drugs or alcohol.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Obey all signs and warnings, and never venture off the trail or onto a closed trail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
